Ann-Charlotte Cadier from Sweden
3rd year student Equine Leisure and Sports
"Equine, Leisure and Sports is a theoretical equine study which brings along competences that no other equine study does. I really believe that my classmates and I get a different and outstanding education for our field of work. I think studying at Van Hall Larenstein creates a lot of opportunities for me as a student. To study here you have to be good at using your opportunities and creating your own personal education, in that way you can present a unique and outstanding CV for the future. In my future job I want to combine theory with practical work and I would like to combine my vast knowledge in the equine world with knowledge about business and management. At the same time I want to use my riding skills and my practical knowledge in the equestrian sport. I would like to start my own company in Sweden, where I come from. I want to combine all my knowledge in different areas and create something new, but I have not finished my plan yet."

"The Equine Management course at Van Hall Larenstein gave me the perfect start to developing my ambitions in the equine business. As one of the few guys, I had to really stand my ground during project work. It certainly taught me how to work well in a mainly female-orientated industry! I am now setting up my own dressage stable, which is based not only on training and riding, but also on trade between Ireland and the Netherlands."
"Wanna be in charge of an international stud farm."
