International Business and Management Studies
Bachelor of International Business and Management Studies(IBMS)
Introduction
Meet the world in the Netherlands
Internationalisation and globalisation determine today's global outlook. The Netherlands has an excellent reputation all over the world when it comes to agricultural products. Many businesses in the food sector have their origins in the Netherlands. Think of the original Dutch Unilever or Sara Lee/Douwe Egberts, which are now subsidiaries of large multinationals. The demand for young, internationally oriented managers who have learned to cooperate in intercultural teams, is constantly increasing.

International Business and Management Studies (IBMS) is an internationally oriented Business Administration (BBA) study. It is a special collaboration between the Noordelijke Hogeschool Leeuwarden (NHL), Stenden Hogeschool and Van Hall Larenstein, which allows you to experience the best these three universities have to offer. You will have your own study coach, various consultancy services, contact with international students, and plenty of possibilities to join in international exchange programmes.
You will start off with a broad basis and in the third year you will choose from one of three different specialisations: Food and Agribusiness Management, Business-to-Business Management or Retail and Small Business Management.
