Dutch/European or non-European students

Tuition fees, information and admission procedures for Dutch/European (EEA) students and non-European students vary, due to a number of differing rules and regulations. Please select your area of origin to find the fees and information applicable to your specific situation.

 

Dutch students

European (EEA) students

The EEA includes all members of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom), plus Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

 

Non-European students 

If you do not hold a passport from one of the countries listed above, then you are a non-European student, and must pay international student tuition fees. Please go to the Non-European student pages.

 

The exception is students from Surinam, who pay the same tuition as Dutch students. Students from candidate EU member states Croatia, Macedonia,and Turkey pay the same tuition as other non-European students.
