Admittance procedure
Wageningen/Velp
If you want to apply for a (Final Phase) Bachelor study in Wageningen/Velp, you have to apply through Studielink (at www.larenstein.studielink.nl), the online application system for higher education in the Netherlands. In Studielink you choose Int. Agr. Hogeschool Larenstein, and subsequently your bachelor of choice and the year you want to commence your study in. For more information about Studielink click here.

Leeuwarden
If you want to apply for a (Final phase) Bachelor study in Leeuwarden, you have to apply through Studielink (at www.vhall.studielink.nl), the online application system for higher education in the Netherlands. In Studielink you choose Van Hall Instituut, and subsequently your bachelor of choice and the year you want to commence your study in. For more information about Studielink click here.

Conditionally admitted
When you have finished your application through studielink, you can send in the documents required:
- a copy of your ID or passport
- official transcript of records of all previous education
(secondary and University level, courses, etc)
- lists of marks
- a CV / resume
- a passport-sized photo
- a copy of your birth certificate
- an official English language score (preferably TOEFL or IELTS) for non-native speakers only
- certification and translation of documents is required when documents are not written in one of the following languages: Dutch, English, French, Spanish or German.
For students already living/ studying in the Netherlands, please add the following:
- a copy of valid resident permit
- proof of current insurance
Once a completed application (including all necessary documents) has been received, it will be given careful consideration. After a positive screening of your application you will receive an official letter and/or email, stating that you have been conditionally admitted. You will also receive a notification through 'studielink-messages'.
Final admittance
- Your admission becomes final when Van Hall Larenstein has received the tuition fee from you or your sponsor, or the arranged scholarship. The bank-account of Van Hall Larenstein is mentioned in the conditional admittance letter you will recieve.
- Upon receipt of this payment, your admission becomes final and we will send you a letter to confirm this.
- You can make arrangements to travel to the Netherlands and Van Hall Larenstein.
If you have applied for a study in Wageningen/Velp, you will receive an introduction set by mail, containing practical information regarding the introduction week, the year roster, etc.
If you have applied in Leeuwarden, you will be handed the introduction set upon arrival.
Please notify your contactperson at the location of your choice when you will arrive at Van Hall Larenstein.
