Non-European students
If you do not hold a passport from one of the countries listed below, then you are a non-European student, and must pay international student tuition fees. The exception is students from Surinam, who pay the same tuition as Dutch students. Students from candidate EU member states Croatia, Macedonia,and Turkey pay the same tuition as other non-European students.
The EEA includes all members of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom), plus Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
