International

Van Hall Larenstein is traditionally an internationally oriented university. And we would like to remain that way. We train all our students for international lines of work and we encourage them to conduct internships or parts of their education abroad.

Especially for international students we have developed a range of studies and courses. Moreover, all fields of study have an international variant that is well adapted to international practice. Do not be surprised when you suddenly hear Spanish, Italian or Chinese spoken in our hallways. The fact that the whole world is our guest naturally has many advantages: you are studying in an international setting. This is beneficial for the social and cultural development, but because of those international contacts, it is also easier to conduct an internship, project or a thesis in another country.

International students choose our college for a reason. Through the many educational- and consultancy projects abroad, Van Hall Larenstein has a clear view of the questions and needs of international students. Almost all courses have an English language variant and all courses in Wageningen already are or will be completely in English.

Our contract activities are also internationally oriented. On the one hand we focus on projects within Europe and on the other hand we focus on developing countries. In the past few years Van Hall Larenstein has conducted major projects in the area of institution building and the institution of learning paths in developing countries. Van Hall Larenstein wants to remain an active player in this market and to this purpose it will often cooperate with partners from Wageningen University and Research Centre (Wageningen UR.)
