Mission
Global and international developments increasingly determine events in the Netherlands. Liberalisation of trade, the expansion of the European Union and climate changes are having a major influence on our economic and cultural relations. We cannot and will not withdraw ourselves from that, the world is becoming our playing-field. Programmes in the English language, internships and course segments abroad and cooperation with foreign institutions are becoming a normal part of our educational process.
Van Hall Larenstein tutors (young) people in an inspirational learning and working environment towards becoming professionals. We integrate the initial education, applied research and training and education into an innovative, internationally oriented, high quality knowledge institute. We are an institution that is open to our environment, is willing to cooperate and is aware of its social responsibility.
Our sector is an international sector. We train Dutch and international students to become professionals who are capable of working abroad or in an internationally oriented line of work. We choose to maintain a close contact with a number of partner institutions abroad and aim towards double degrees and the exchange of knowledge and teachers. We are open to other cultures and we welcome teachers and students from all over the world.
