Jos Wintermans
Director education Land and Watermanagement
Jos Wintermans was born on January 31st, 1963 in Borculo. He graduated from Wageningen University as an Agricultural Engineer in Biology and Nature Management.
From 1988-2002 he taught Nature Management/Wildlife Management at VHL and from 2002 onwards he is director education of Land and Watermanagement at VHL.
Jos sat on the board of the Dutch Watermuseum from 2004 to 2006.
"The nice thing about being a director education is the fact that you're dealing with people, both employees and students. Working in a school means working with a group of young, enthousiastic people who are building their future. But water and water management is also a fascinating world, just consider the actual concerns about the rising seawater level and global warming, for example. But water also means experience, people find water fascinating and they need it as well."
